Joining us at the beginning of June, Catherine has stepped into the role of leading BOA Café with an infectious enthusiasm that has already inspired those around her. In just a few short weeks, she has begun reimagining every aspect of the restaurant experience, bringing fresh creativity, innovative ideas and a renewed focus on quality.

Visitors can look forward to a completely refreshed menu, thoughtfully revised pricing and a dining experience that reflects the same passion for excellence that defines Cango Wildlife as a whole.

But Catherine's story is about far more than food.

It is a story about having the courage to begin again.

Before following her culinary dreams, Catherine spent many years building a successful career in the corporate world. Although she excelled professionally, she knew something was missing. Drawn by a growing passion for food and hospitality, she made the life-changing decision to leave behind the security of corporate life and pursue a career that truly inspired her.

That leap of faith led her to study Culinary Arts under renowned chef Francois Ferreira before building an impressive career across South Africa's hospitality and television industries.

Over the years, Catherine has worn many hats. She has worked as a restaurant owner, hospitality consultant, culinary producer and Campus Manager at the Francois Ferreira Academy. She also led the culinary departments behind some of South Africa's most loved cooking shows, including Kokkedoor, Koekedoor, Kokkedoortjie and My Kitchen Rules South Africa.

Each chapter added another layer of experience, but one thing remained constant: a passion for creating memorable food experiences that bring people together.

Now, that passion has found a new home at BOA Café.

As Catherine works alongside our dedicated café team, exciting changes are already taking shape. New menu items are being carefully developed, recipes refined and every detail thoughtfully considered to create a dining experience worthy of Cango Wildlife's next chapter.

This transformation isn't simply about introducing new dishes.

It's about creating a destination where locals, annual members and visitors can gather, connect and enjoy exceptional food in a uniquely Cango setting.

One of the most exciting parts of this journey is that our Annual Members will be among the very first to experience these changes. As we continue to roll out the new menu and refreshed restaurant offering, our loyal members will enjoy exclusive early access to what promises to be an exciting new era for BOA Café.

While the location may be familiar, almost everything else is evolving.
