There is a shift in the air this year. You will feel it as you move beneath the tree canopies, where 40 years of conservation have led to this moment. You will hear it first. The sound of excited children moving ahead. Searching. Running. Engaging with nature as it was always meant to be. On 4 and 5 April, we will host our third annual Easter Egg Hunt. This is not only...
A Fresh Upgrade: Our New Cold Meat Storage Facility
As the Ranch has grown over the years, so too have the needs of our team and the animals in our care. One of the very first “buildings” on the property was actually a set of containers that served as our cold meat storage and freezer. These containers worked hard and outlasted their lifespan, but as the ranch expanded and more enclosures were added, it became clear that we had outgrown them.
The old storage was small and no longer in the most practical location for our team. It also lacked the modern facilities needed to support the size and scope of operations we run today. With hundreds of meals prepared daily for a wide variety of species, we knew it was time for an upgrade.
The exciting news is that our brand-new cold meat storage facility is now close to being completed. The new space is much larger, more accessible, and designed with efficiency in mind. It will give our dedicated animal feed department better access to the tools, equipment, and storage solutions they need to carry out their work smoothly and effectively.
This upgrade is more than just a new building. It represents progress, growth, and a stronger foundation for the future. It means our staff will soon be able to work in a more organized and comfortable environment, allowing them to focus on what they do best — supporting the care and wellbeing of the incredible animals that call Cango home.
This milestone is another reminder of how far the Ranch has come, and how exciting the future continues to be as we grow and improve our facilities.

At our facility, every animal eats because of her. Every portion is measured. Every diet is prepared with care. It is precise work. Demanding work. Work that leaves no room for error. And for years, she has carried it with pride, discipline, and a...
