A Bold New Chapter: Introducing BOA | Because Of Animals Foundation

Posted on Thu May 28, 2026.

For many years, the Cheetah Preservation Foundation has stood as a symbol of passion, dedication, and hope for the future of wildlife conservation. Through rescue efforts, education, conservation initiatives, and unwavering compassion, the foundation has touched countless lives, both human and animal, while helping create a future where people and wildlife can thrive together.

Now, as Cango celebrates an incredible milestone of 40 years, we are proud to step into an exciting new era.

We are thrilled to officially announce that the Cheetah Preservation Foundation has evolved into the BOA | Because Of Animals Foundation. This is far more than just a name change. It is a celebration of growth, vision, and the future. As Cango enters its 40th year, this rebrand reflects how far we have come, not only as a facility, but as a conservation family.

Over the years, our mission has grown beyond the protection of a single species. Today, our work reaches across wildlife conservation, education, ethical animal care, rescue, community involvement, and creating meaningful change for the future of all animals.

The name BOA | Because Of Animals represents exactly why we do what we do.

Because of animals, people learn compassion.
Because of animals, conservation matters.
Because of animals, ecosystems survive.
Because of animals, we continue to fight for a better future.

While the name may be new, the heart behind the foundation remains exactly the same - and stronger than ever before. BOA Foundation carries forward the legacy, passion, and dedication that supporters have come to know and love, while opening the door to bigger opportunities, stronger partnerships, and even greater conservation impact in the years ahead.

This rebrand marks the beginning of an exciting future filled with growth, innovation, and renewed purpose. It allows us to expand our reach, strengthen our conservation efforts, and continue building a foundation that speaks not only for cheetahs, but for wildlife as a whole.

At its core, BOA Foundation will always stand for the values that started this journey: compassion, education, preservation, and an unwavering commitment to animals.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we do so with immense gratitude for every volunteer, donor, supporter, conservation advocate, and member of the Cango family who has walked this journey with us. You have helped shape this foundation into what it is today, and your support will continue to shape what it becomes tomorrow.

This is not the end of a story.

It is the beginning of something even bigger.

Welcome to the future of conservation.
